CSC Ball and Trinity News

Hmmm, the CSC Ball that was on last week was one hell of a night, or at least what I can remember of it. There was copious amounts of alcohol, a lost phone, drunken wanderings through Rathmines, things that I would prefer to keep to myself and stumbling home in the morning. You know you've been out long when the buses are running again and you're still drunk and awake.
I had thought it was over, well apart from the teasing I would get for my drunkeness and behaviour, but no I open the Trinity News today, the new issue and see my beautiful drunk face dancing with my friend Anni. We look like such a cute lesbian couple!
So I thought I should put a few pictures up and mention a few anecdotes about the night.
This one is of me and Anni back when we had only polished off about two bottles of wine. Ah yes, in futue don't buy wine at the Hilton, at about €30 a pop vodka and dash is so much cheaper, even if the wine was quite strong. Well Society of the Year went to SVdeP, so much for my sneaky vote as apparent Treasurer of the Archaeology soc, which of course I'm not! Being the only "commitee" member of the Archaeology soc not only meant I got to walk around and pretend to be part of it all, all the while complaining Archaeology should have been nominated, but I also got to vote.
The jazz band provided by the Jazz Society were pretty awesome, but how the conga line fitted into swing music is beyond my understanding. Here's another funny photo of Bartley and James pretend sword fighting out in the hallway. Very strange, quite amusing.
Here's a few more pictures that have no story, but are cute.

Anni does look adorable here, the right little poser.

Strange, somehow whenever alcohol gets involved people get these grand delusions that they are either fabulous singers, great models or amazing dancers. Thankfully only one of the three got caught on camera this time!

Ah see, there's the delusion that I can actually dance. Knew that one wasn't far off!

Well the party at the Hilton ended eventually, my dancing buddy and her boyfriend went home and I was escorted by some lovely gentlemen of the Politics Society to Coppers, where apart from trying to sneak into a hotel at like one in the morning, walking along Rathmines looking for an atm, frantically and drunkenly trying to find my phone and bumping into a few people nothing much else happened and this is where I will fade to black...
